Quilts in the Garden
was held in Honor of National Sewing Month 0n September 10th 2011.
In the
2010/2011 school year my class focus was Quilting.
My Student Open House, showcased 35
Quilts made from my Students
ranging in age from 9 to Adult.
Over 100 people attended the event.
I felt so proud
to see all my students quilts on display at the same time.
What a beautiful sight it was!!! Everyone who
attended just Loved all the
quilts and were super impressed at the individual creativity, and talent
of each quilt.
The quilts were hung on an old fashion clothes
line that stretched the entire length of my front and side yards.
I loved how they blew softly in the warm breeze of the afternoon.
Family and friends alike all enjoyed the
display as well as all the goodies
that everyone brought to munch on. Not all the quilts from the show are
