Class Descriptions

The Possibilities are endless!

*My Studio is a cool place to get creative and make new friends with
common interests. I have 4 complete sewing stations equipped with
sewing machines and all the tools you'll need to explore the world of
sewing. My classes are semi private so your student will receive
more one on one instruction when needed. These weekly lessons
are age appropriate and are held year-round as an on going
enrichment program except for holidays. While listening to their
favorite music and chatting with new found friends they will begin
to learn all the basic skills of sewing.

*Kids Club! fourth, fifth & sixth graders will discover how
much fun sewing can be while learning basic sewing skills. While
further developing small and large motor skills and coordination, kids
will learn to use the sewing machine, iron, stitch by hand and cut
fabric appropriately. They will also learn to read a pattern. They will
choose and cut out fabrics and explore the color wheel. They will make
creative and colorful projects while chatting with new friends.

*Club Thread! While listening to their favorite music, teens in
Junior High and High School will be inspired to
create one of a kind design while learning basic sewing skills.
They'll meet new friends as they discover the power of color and
its endless possibilities. As they explore the world of sewing their
self esteem will soar!!! Then when their feeling empowered by their
new found skills, we will explore quilting, clothing and home decor.
We will do a little remixing of old jeans and turn them into something
new and trendy, and checkout some cool techniques of fiber arts and embellishments.
